Who We Are

For 9 years now thedrugspot.com has had a presence on the internet.

First created late 2003 as the brainchild of John Simms, thedrugspot.com is a free collection of several self-published essays on various remedies, cognitive enhancement chemical experiments, and of course natural hallucinogenics.

Over time, further information was added to the library regarding more widely known narcotics. Not shying away from controversy, various texts were published on many scheduled narcotics including LSD, Ecstasy and Methamphetamine.

The commonly published rhetoric: “drugs are bad, don’t do drugs”, fails to acknowledge that drug use is a reality for the vast majority of people in the western world day to day. Anti-depressants, pain relievers, opiates, barbiturates, steroids (that includes your asthma medication), cannabis, alcohol & ecstasy. All very different “drugs”, with very different associated feelings attached to each. Stigma & propaganda complicate addictions, treatment and even the healthy use of so many “drugs” today.

This site is here for to read about and study the very many sides of modern drug production, use, addiction and treatment.

From detailed books describing how many drugs are made, grown, extracted and refined, through to the use, effects, cautions and benefits, abuse, addiction and treatment. You will discover little known knowledge covering the entire spectrum on the topic of  ”drugs”.
